A full-time Post Doctoral Fellow position is available immediately for a highly motivated candidate in the Laboratory of Chronic Immunpathology at the Department of Surgery, University of Regensburg, Germany.

The successful candidate will join an ongoing research project focused on defining the role of intrinsic regulators of the immune system on chronic intestinal inflammation and its long-term complications (i.e. tumorigenesis and fibrosis).

This project is based on a variety of established animal models using genetically manipulated mice. The ideal candidate should have a Ph.D., M.D., or both, with prior training in intestinal immunology including expertise in state-of-the- art techniques of immunology and molecular biology.
